1920s Birthday Party

Monia wanted a 30’s birthday party with “The Great Gatsby” theme, the film set in the 1920s, in which you can feel the American Prohibition Era. The color palette is inspired by the film, dominated by black and gold. We combined it with white flowers and dried leaves. For the dinner table we made a centerpiece with white and ivory flowers, against the dark tablecloth, that has a black and gold geometric pattern. The napkins tied with feathers are the detail that makes the theme of “The Great Gatsby” unmistakable. The dark tapered candles add elegance to the table.

The party goes into the lounge area, where mirror balls and white roses were the set-up for the cake cutting and dancefloor.
