I was born in Terlizzi, in a family of flower farmers. It seems that my grandfather and his brothers have brought floriculture to our country, which over the years has become a very important sector of the local economy.
This is how I grew up rollerblading among the greenhouses of roses, carnations and all those flowers that were then sold in Terlizzi flower market, one of the most important in Italy.
I studied law, I wanted to be a lawyer. But I’ve always had a fascination for all creative and handworks. I’ve always thought that handwork is a key to happiness, as it gives you the opportunity to see the result of what you do and be satisfied with it.
Towards the end of my studies I happened to help a florist as a summer job, and there I discovered my addiction… to flowers and beauty, to everything that become decoration and design, and to the happiness that you can breathe on the wedding day. And, why not, also to the fatigue which for me, in a world made up of sitting-jobs, it’s a gift!
So I hung my graduation on the wall and Flower Addicted was born in 2016.
Designing and making, everything with flowers is really magic but also a very tiring work. Making the arrangements respecting the times, and at the same time the delicacy of the flowers, makes our work truly challenging.
Today with me are a close-knit team of florists and fitters, and above all my tireless parents.
