Carolin & Sebastian
Flower decorations for a wedding in Amalfi Coast
Carolin and Sebastian celebrated their wedding in Italy facing the sea, on the Amalfi coast, in October … a few months after their first meeting! The ceremony and the wedding lunch took place on one of the terraces of Villa Cimbrone, a beautiful historic palace of Ravello, Amalfi coast.
Carolin wanted aromantic and refined wedding in Italy. With the help of Laura Frappa, her wedding planner, she chose a bridal bouquet made with soft pink English roses, some darker pink flower and a host of other soft white flowers. A bridal bouquet so romantic but at the same time spontaneous and free … just like Carolin.
The bride and groom exchanged their vows under a big arch of flowers. During the ceremony the guests were seated behind them, in front of the sea. On the same terrace the lunch table, which lasted until the evening by affording guests the beautiful sunset over the sea.
The rectangular table was crossed by wild flowers compositions, composed of many flowers varieties in pink, ivory and burgundy color. Scattered among the flowers, collected in cups or lying on the tablecloth, there were autumn fruits: grapes, pomegranates and small apples. The autumn colors were picked up in burgundy silk ribbon that bound each napkin at a handwritten menu. On the heads of the guests some hunging bulb lights, and many handwritten tambourines.
After the lunch, the wedding party continued in the fabulous crypt of Villa Cimbrone, where was served pizza buffet for dinner!
