Graduation party in Villa Cimbrone

For Dana’s medical degree, Laura and I decided to celebrate the strength of women. We asked Shhmydarling to create something unique to print on the runner and napkins, and I think they proved to be real artists. On the napkins was depicted the goddess Athena, representing strength, temperance, sapince and justice. Athena is surrounded by a snake, symbol of medicine and honeysuckle, symbol of passion and femininity.

We thought of a palette based on ivory, beige, ocher, yellow, caramel and all their shades. We wanted an elegant but also young style, suitable for such an important goal for a young woman. To give even more modernity to this table, we used iron vases and candlesticks handmade by me and my multitasking dad… and I think it was worth it! Every detail of this table is unique: the palette, the floral selection, the iron props, the wonderfully personalized napkins, the chargers created especially for Dana by a famous Italian craftsman..
