Birthday dinner at Torre Maizza

To celebrate her 36th birthday, Francesco, one of our long-standing clients, surprised Federica with a dinner at Masseria Torre Maizza, giving us complete creative freedom over the floral design.  The result was a sophisticated color palette inspired by Federica’s personality.

The rich brown of the tablecloth provided the perfect backdrop for exquisite arrangements composed entirely of purple Vanda orchids. Sculptural in shape and striking in their deep violet tones, the arrangements created a bold contrast against the brown fabric. Yet, each orchid revealed subtle brown undertones, making the combination feel almost inevitable.

Tiny Cosmos flowers, scattered here and there, echoed the burgundy speckles found on the orchids, adding another layer of detail to the composition. Black accents, such as the candles, introduced a dark and sophisticated touch, while the fringed place cards brought just the right hint of playfulness. The result was a tablescape that felt both elegant and full of personality.
