Francesca & Giorgio
Wedding in Trani Cathedral
A true Italian wedding. Francesca and Giorgio chose to get married in the north of Puglia, an area still unknown, which however offers incredible scenery, such as Trani Cathedral.
The Catholic ceremony took place in the upper Basilica of the Cathedral. Flowers adorned the staircase of the Basilica and, inside, are placed in a few points, to emphasize the beauty of the essential architecture typical of the Apulian Romanesque.
The dinner took place in the olive grove of Tenuta Montevitolo, an elegant masseria next to Castel del Monte, another example of essential architecture typical of this land.
The decorations reflect the essentiality of the places. They can be defined minimal and characterized by typical Puglian materials, such as terracotta and ceramic. The floral arrangements are modern in shapes and colors. The palette evokes the white light of the stone and the absorbing power of terracotta. An elegant contrast obtained with white and caramel-colored garden roses, among which nude and honey-colored carnations workedvery well.
An unexpected flower here is anthurium, which creates graphic lines that are as elegant as they are strong.
