Gwendaline & Ronald
Autumn vibes
For this wedding we wanted to celebrate the early autumn feeling: a bit of nostalgia for the just ended summer, but also joy for those still warm and sunny days that the first weeks of autumn give us.
In this period the leaves begin to turn yellow and, in some cases, red. The flowers take on more intense colors due to the increased exposure to light in the previous months.
This is why the palette of this wedding has as leaders the rust color and the pink, in all its shades, including a deep coral pink. Hints of yellow and gold details complete and brighten the palette.
Each item was customized for Gwen and Ronald: a hand-painted wedding suite, also included bags with petals for tossing on the newlyweds at the end of the ceremony. The tablecloth, also hand-painted, had the same motif of which has been reproduced on the napkins and on the terracotta tablemats. The place card, a tambourine with the portrait of each individual guest, then became an original wedding favor. The torchon candles, even those were handcrafted in the same rust color as the tablecloth.
As set for the dinner, we created a floral ceiling with dried foraged leaves and fresh flowers, which helped make Villa Cimbrone’s crypt even more magical and dreamy.
From chairs to vases, from cutlery to flowers … the elements chosen for this wedding worked so well with each other that the result left us all breathless.
