Madeline & Giulio
Wedding at Villa Astor
For this wedding we returned to the heart of the Amalfi Coast, at Villa Astor, also known as Villa Tritone, one of the most exclusive wedding venues in Italy, renowned for its panoramic sea view over the Mount Vesuvius. The estate is rich in history, offering an exceptional setting for a luxury destination wedding in Italy, with ancient gardens, sculptures, and terraces overlooking the sea.
We intentionally chose a bold color palette — featuring acid green, electric blue, and fuchsia — to create a modern contrast with the villa’s historic character. We used hydrangeas and calla lilies, the trendiest flowers at the moment, put together in contemporary floral arrangements that combined natural elegance with a bold sculptural style.
The ceremony location was in one of the iconic gardens, surrounded by giant bananas and strelitzias, where we created a flower wall as backdrop for the vows exchange.
For the reception we moved to the famous panoramic terrace, where a long shaped table waited guests, following the natural curve of the terrace. Printed linens, moody floral arrangements and candles were perfectly in contrast with the chairs, inspired by the iconic bistros chairs of the Italian Dolce Vita.
It’s truly la Dolce Vita that inspired this wedding, and there was no more fitting finale than an iconic champagne tower to close the reception and begin the party in the villa’s historic halls.
