Pasquale & Clarissa
Winter Wedding in Puglia
Pasquale and Clarissa exchanged theire vows in Trani Cathedral on a sunny December. The bride and groom wanted the wedding design based on red roses, like the ones that Pasquale always gave to Clarissa as soon as they met. I accepted the challenge and the result was truly amazing!
A sprawling arch of lilies and red roses framed the entrance to the Crypt of San Nicola Pellegrino, where the ceremony was held.
The reception was hosted in a historical restaurant set in a 12th century Church, Le Lampare al Fortino. To enhance this place we created installations of red flowers, like natural grawths of flowers climbing on the columns and a flower wall of red flowers that looks like a cloud suspended over what was the apse of the ancient Church, where the newlyweds now sit.
Thanks to the different red shades, the installations seemed made with red velvet that, in contrast with the white stone of Trani, they had a beauty that surprised even me. It’s not as usual to use only red flowers for a wedding set-up , and for this reason the experience was truly exciting for me!
