Meech & Ashley
Crimson red at Masseria Salamina
Meech & Ashley chose Masseria Salamina for their wedding—a 17th-century fortified farmhouse, instantly recognizable by its signature castle-like battlements. It was the perfect backdrop for a vibrant and dramatic design.
For the ceremony, we crafted an organic floral semi-arch that seemed to sprout naturally from the masseria’s historic chianche (limestone slabs), framing the entrance to the chapel. We then defined the aisle with lush, ground-level floral arrangements that accompanied Ashley’s path to the altar.
For the reception, the masseria’s inner courtyard was transformed into an open-air lounge. We adorned the round tables with cascading blooms in deep crimson red, creating sinuous floral runners that flowed from the edge of the tables down to the stone floor. These asymmetrical, free-flowing centerpieces helped create an atmosphere that was both informal and elegantly dramatic—exactly what Meech & Ashley had envisioned.
