Sophia & Dan
Wedding in the centuries-old olive grove
Sophia and Dan chose to celebrate and celebrate their wedding in Puglia, in the iconic Masseria Pettolecchia.
The ceremony took place in the shade of the majestic centuries-old olive trees. Each of them has a unique and evocative shape, shaped over the centuries, which is why an olive grove is an almost spiritual place, ideal for exchanging vows. Here we thought of floral arrangements organic but very elegant and feminine. Feminine both in the choice of floral types, mostly roses, and in the palette, which included all shades of pink, passing through nude, coral, burgundy… The terracotta vases along the aisle acted as a binder between the flowers and the soil, integrating perfectly with the landscape.
The reception was held outdoors, on the villa’s terrace, where guests were awaited by a long imperial table dressed with botanical prints in desaturated colors. Along the table, candles and large cups of flowers alternated as centerpieces.
Sophia wanted everything to be very elegant but did not want to give up some rustic details, suitable for the surrounding environment. This is why she chose materials such as terracotta for the vases or wicker for the placemats. The result is a sober elegance, which goes well with the land of Puglia.
